I’m Bastiaan Huisman. I have a PhD in physics and spent more than twenty years working in scientific, technical and software engineering environments, mostly at Shell.
For a long time, I approached life much the same way I approached technical problems: understand it, analyse it, find a solution. At some point I discovered that this approach had its limits in my own life. That experience was an important part of what led me to retrain as a coach.
I completed my coaching training at ICM in March 2026 and am now building my coaching practice while working towards NOBCO EQA Practitioner certification. I am also registered with the StiR foundation.
